what kind of quality are you looking for?? my company delivers to all the shops in the nw...electrofinishers in kent, hytech in kent, art brass in seattle, production plating in mukilteo, pro-coat in kent....for doo-dads I would try electrofinishers....for the best show quality I would go for queen city plating in mukilteo, they do most of the chrome for cars you would see on barrett jackson, no lie, they are the best in the usa...art brass is the bumper kings...I deliver chrome to all these places...want anodizing? try skills or asko processing....I know all these places are hurting for work right now....

ive got a roof rack for my rabbit that im looking to get chromed. also alot of odds and ends for my rabbit. nothing larger than my size 13 shoe! i looked at the elctrofinishers in kent online the other day but they only did zinc it seemed (unless im thinkin of different place.)

also a quick question, ifi were to get my roof rack chromed while it was broke down, would i have the chase the threas and run a tap over the bolts? or would the plating not be thick enough to cause this problem?

You will definatly will have to chase the threads also if you have parts that have a slip fit they will need to be sanded before they will go back together. Typically the plating proccess is a three stage stage process and it does cause a buildup on the parts.

One of the best places is in my sig line. I've used them more than once and it is top notch for much less than Art Brass.

this is the one in kent, it's a very small shop...ask for Mike...tell him the Cascade Columbia driver referred you...they may have a tank big enough to fit your rack not broken down...they can tell you how many mills of chrome they will put on...the more the better for longevity....you may just want to nickel plate the rack instead...they do it all there....

With powdercoat yes. Where I go they have $100 min and that gets me lots of stuff done! With chrome I have not seen a min just cash by piece.

I had them do my Entire inside from Glove box door to ash try, bumper brackets, and some smaller pieces, and they did an EXCELLENT JOB!!!!
And yes the quote was much less than A&B.
